About Website Checker

Website Checker runs a health check on a website: DNS and email records, the TLS certificate, HTTP headers, server disclosure, WordPress plugin versions, images and AI readability. The checks run in your browser; a small relay fetches the site's public pages on your behalf because browsers cannot read other origins.

What is fetched, and what is kept

• For the site you enter, the relay fetches the home page, robots.txt, llms.txt, the sitemap, up to 50 same-origin pages, the images those pages reference, and performs one TLS handshake. DNS records are resolved over DNS over HTTPS from your browser.
• The pages, images and files fetched during a check are not stored. The relay keeps only a daily count of checks per visitor (a hash of your IP address and a browser cookie).
• A summary of the results, excluding the Exposure section, may be cached for up to 30 days and shown to anyone else who checks the same site; entering a hostname first shows that cached report, marked with its age, before offering a fresh check.
• Reports you run are also kept in this browser only (the last 10); sharing a link re-runs the check rather than retrieving a stored copy.
• The relay's own operational logs record a salted, one-way hash of your IP address and never the body of a fetched page, kept for 14 days.

Limits

Three checks per visitor per day, at most five fresh checks against one site per day across all visitors, and a daily cap across everyone combined. Each check is confirmed with Cloudflare Turnstile to keep the service for real visitors rather than automated traffic. Limits, checks and scoring may change without notice.

Opting a site out

A site owner can ask for their hostname to be excluded from checks by emailing support@zenithappfoundry.com. Once added to the blocklist, a check against that hostname is rejected before any fetch with the message "This site has opted out of checks."

Permission

Run Website Checker only against sites you own, manage, or have permission to test. The crawl is polite (it identifies itself as ZAF-WebsiteChecker, respects robots.txt and stops at 50 pages), but you are responsible for how you use it.

No warranty

Findings are derived from what the site exposes at the time of the check and are provided without warranty of any kind. A clean result is not a guarantee that a site is secure, and a grade is not a prediction of rankings, traffic or AI citations. Nothing here is security, legal or SEO advice.
